Resident discovers next-door neighbors are a mama cat and kittens, who have been living in the empty house, resident invites the fluffy family over: ‘They just ran in’

People usually don't mess with their next-door neighbors. While they might be nice people and great companions, they can also be bad news, so many people will avoid contact at all costs with whoever is living right next to them. 

When the resident in the story below found out who was living in the house next door, they knew there was no chance they could ignore their new neighbors, probably because they were not even human. No, the new residents of the unoccupied house next door were a mama cat and her three kittens, who have found shelter in the garden of the empty location. 

It wasn't long before these new neighbors became friendly with each other, which led the resident to decide they could provide a better home for the fluffy family. Together with the new residents of the empty house, these helpful neighbors convinced the family to move into the house next door, and there they have found their furever family.

    In September a small mama cat introduced me to her three kittens. They were in the garden of the temporarily unoccupied house next door. We fed them from the boundary wall. Two months later, they moved into my house. I guess I have four cats now.

    OP sarahconlacca One day we called the neighbour and he gave us permission to enter his garden to try to get them because he was returning with a big dog. But when we entered the garden the kittens ran away from us. We tried to enter several times but they were so scared at first. Then the neighbour with the dog arrived and they decided to just move inside my garden at first and then inside my house. From the other side of the house there is no wall, just the two gates so they just ran in.

    OP sarahconlacca So we are Italians and the names were decided by my mother. She named the fluffy one Pallina because she had an almost identical cat when she was younger and he was named Pallino. The tuxedo one is Silvestro like Sylvester from the Looney Tunes and the black one Mirtillo because he looks like a blueberry. We haven't found a name for mama cat yet.
